For years my X account was my main connection to the Bay Area robotics scene, yet I still felt major FOMO living in Pittsburgh. I eventually moved to Palo Alto and joined a leading humanoid robotics company. My role gave me visibility across a large swath of the entire organization, but my connections stayed mostly internal, and I couldn't talk openly about my day-to-day work.

Ironically, I was actually more connected to the wider ecosystem when I was still in Pittsburgh.

Now that I've stepped away from that role, I'm fully taking advantage of being in the robotics epicenter of the world and have already had dozens of in-person and virtual meetings.

I'm actively looking for my next robotics chapter across the full spectrum from short-term contracting and full-time roles to raising a pre-seed round and founding my own venture, either solo or with a strong co-founder.
